Blackboard Instructor Mobile App
Last updated: August 4, 2019
Access your UNM Learn courses with the Blackboard Instructor app.
Features of Blackboard Instructor
The Blackboard Instructor app allows Instructors, Teaching Assistants and Graders to view course content, connect with students and grade student work. Note: The stand-alone Bb Grader app is no longer supported. For more details, see Grading in Blackboard Instructor.
There continue to be a couple of caveats:
- Because UNM uses more advanced technologies than simple HTML pages, in some cases Blackboard Instructor may not be able to display the content or display it properly. In addition, some features – particularly Flash, Java-based, or QuickTime video – may not work properly on all devices.
- For full functionality of UNM Learn, use a supported browser and OS listed at http://online.unm.edu/help/learn/support/browsers.
The Blackboard Instructor app is created and maintained by Blackboard. UNM will enable connectivity to the application, but has no control of the application’s offerings. Some UNM Learn features and tools may not appear or work within the app. Blackboard's mobile applications are regularly updated (like any mobile application) and new functionality will be offered as Blackboard improves the service. UNM Learn Support recommends keeping Blackboard Instructor updated in order to implement all feature improvements and bug fixes.
