Converting & Uploading an Existing PowerPoint with Voice-over to UNM Learn
You may have already created voice-overs for your PowerPoint presentations using the built-in recording feature. While PowerPoint presentations with recorded audio narration and/or annotations are great enhancements, the files are not easy to distribute or view via UNM Learn. We recommend converting these files into MPEG-4 (.mp4), uploading them to UNM Learn's dedicated media tool and linking it for students to view.
From Microsoft PowerPoint:
1. On the File menu, select Save to ensure all your recent work has been saved in PowerPoint presentation format (.pptx).
2. Click File > Export > Create a Video.
3. In the first drop-down box under Create a Video, select the video quality to be no more than Full HD (1080p). The higher the video quality, the larger the file and the longer the upload process will take.
4. Click Create Video.
5. Save the video to a known location.
