Types of Assignments - Journals

The journal screen has a Title field, a text box for typing, a box for attaching files, and a Post Entry button.Journals are primarily designed to be used as a personal space shared between individual students and the instructor, but they can also be made public for the rest of your classmates to view.

Journals work well for self-reflection, free writing exerices, and can also be handy for developing individual projects. 

Journals can be graded or not graded and the instructor may either provide you with a prompt or have you use it as a free-writing space. Watch the tutorial below on how to successfully complete and submit a journal entry.
