Academic Support for Online Students
UNM Center for Academic Support (CAPS)
The Center for Academic Support (CAPS) provides a range of services, including interactive online tutoring, to help students meet the challenges of their courses at UNM. All UNM students have access to CAPS' in-person or online tutoring services. The CAPS YouTube channel has a tour of online tutoring services, a video dispelling common online learning myths and more. CAPS can be reached at (505) 277-7205.
Undergraduate Academic Advisement
UNM's Academic Advisors provide student-centered support and services to promote academic success and help undergraduate students reach their educational and career goals. Each department on campus has their own advisors to help guide students in their chosen majors. For help navigating your major and required courses, make an appointment with the appropriate Academic Advisor.
Graduation Project
The Graduation Project is a resource for students returning to UNM after a break in studies. Students in good academic standing with 90 or more earned credit hours seeking their first bachelor's degree are encouraged to complete the interest form before applying to the university.
Graduate Resource Center
UNM's Graduate Resource Center provides prospective and current students with a variety of resources to promote academic success, provide research support, increase student retention, and reduce time to degree completion.
University Libraries
UNM's University Libraries offer students access to all of the Library's resources online. If you need additional assistance, the Ask a Librarian tool is available by chat, text, email or phone.
Accessibility Resources Center
If you are a student with a disability who is having problems with any of the content delivered through UNM Learn, contact both your instructor and the UNM Accessibility Resource Center so that an accommodation may be made to meet your needs. Additionally, if you have concerns regarding the functionality of the UNM Learn application in relation to accessibility, please contact the UNM Learn Support team.
