Graduate Programs
In many fields today, a bachelor’s degree can get your foot in the door but may not be enough to advance your career or lead to a higher salary. UNM offers a selection of online graduate degree programs for busy people who want to expand their education along with their horizons.
Online Graduate Degree and Certificate Programs
The blue lightning bolt () designates an Accelerated Online Program (AOP)
What is an Accelerated Online Program?
Accelerated Online Programs (AOPs) are for people who work full-time, have family responsibilities, or other circumstances that might prevent them from obtaining their degree. Compared to traditional face-to-face classes or typical online programs, Accelerated Online Programs offer a high degree of flexibility.
AOPs are fully online programs with classes offered in an eight-week format. You access classes and interact with others regularly, and complete weekly assignments. While the courses are fast paced, you have the flexibility of completing weekly assignments when and where it works for you. And you’ll learn from the same experienced faculty who teach on our Albuquerque campus. AOPs are billed at a special flat-tuition rate.
Non-AOP Degree Program
Some online graduate-level degree programs are featured in a non-AOP format. These include the MA in Educational Leadership, the MS in Physical Education, post-masters Nursing programs, a professional Master of Science in Global & National Security, and the MA in Chicana & Chicano Studies. Non-AOP programs are billed at the standard rates.
