AOP Minors
Certain bachelor’s degrees, such as those offered through the College of Arts & Sciences, will require that you pursue a minor degree to augment your major. Your advisor can tell you if your particular degree will require a major.
Minors are chosen from an area that is different from your major. These can complement your major or study something unrelated. Either way, they allow you to expand your knowledge in a given area. We often recommend that, when choosing your minor, you consider what sort of career you are planning post-graduation and how a particular minor might be useful there.
UNM offers seven minors that are offered in the accelerated format for those students who are in AOP majors. These minors run between 18 and 24 credit hours.
