Program Overview
Economics is an excellent minor for students pursuing majors such as Biology, Business Administration, Geography, History, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Political Science, and for those building a pre-professional bachelor’s degree such as pre-law, pre-MBA. or pre-MPA.
Minor Requirements
A minor in Economics requires a total of 18 credit hours consisting of: 9 credit hours in required courses and 9 credit hours from elective courses with a maximum of 3 credit hours at the 200-level.
Who is Eligible?
Students admitted to an undergraduate Accelerated Online Program and students otherwise interested in an undergraduate online education option are eligible for the minor in Economics. Still, it is important to determine whether the minor is suitable.
