UNM Instructors Honored for Excellence in Online Teaching
June 17, 2025 - Ellie Walton
The University of New Mexico's Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) and UNM Online are proud to celebrate and recognize instructors who have provided high-quality online education through their participation in online course reviews!
The Foundational Course Design Review is available to all online instructors at the UNM Albuquerque Campus. This review offers feedback from external evaluators to help instructors improve the quality of their online courses. This process can also be treated as a first step toward meeting the standards of a Golden Paw Award. The Golden Paw is prestigious and is the highest recognition for online instruction at UNM.
By participating in these reviews, instructors demonstrate their dedication to online course excellence and student success. These initiatives ensure that online courses align with the best practices outlined in the Online Learning Excellence Framework, which emphasizes essential design elements and strategies to meet the needs of UNM online students. Students enrolled in these courses can expect the highest quality online learning experiences.
